Today I was scrolling through Instagram feed when I saw a video of a person molesting a family in car.
The incident started when a drunk biker in one of the cities around the world took a wrong turn and when he came in front of the car that had a guy, with his small kid and wife.
Having done that, the matter soon escalated when the biker jumped off the bike and started shouting to the man in the car to come out, so that he could fight with him.
Even thoughthe person was saying that he doesn't wants to fight and that he was with his family and the kid, the drunk biker didn't wanted to listen to him and started shouting loudly and also started thrashing the window of the driver.
The man in the car was obviously terrified, and I can understand that he would have fought but he cared about his family so didn't wanted to step out.
Having said that the drunk driver broke the wiper of the car and broke the windshield of the car in which the family was sitting terrified.
People were trying to stop him, but he didn't wanted to listen to anyone.
I don’t know how patience of the person worked in this case as he didn't accelerated the car as it would have ran above the drunk biker.
Never the less but the person was arrested by police, but this makes me wonder — Why has this world become so violent?
Things like these make us feel so incapable of handling violence. A man who is there to protect his family is not able to keep his kids and wife away from situations like these.
Violence only stops violence, but because of the law around the world, even if you used violence to protect your family, then you are easily taken into custody.
The only thing one can do is to be a mook spectator when people harass you and make you feel like you can do nothing.
Your family is harassed. Criminals shout at your family, they threaten you. They ensure that you will doubt your own capabilities, but you cannot take any action in the moment, because if you did hit the person who is doing wrong, and you don't have any proof that he did something wrong then you are at the fault.
Usually even if there is a proof that the criminal was going to hurt you, but because you were not hurt, therefore the law of the world will make you accused because you used violence to disarm the criminal.
Common Man has no powers. He might be a super hero in front of his kids, but this superhero became a superzero because the kid cannot feel safe in front of other people even when he or she is with their parents.
Because their parents were not able to react and harm the criminal and act confidently.
This will scar the child for life and that child will never feel safe again, not even when he or she with his or her parents.
This is a mental trauma that the kid had to go through, and I know that the government will not be able to do justice with the criminal.
They will punish him with some fine and then let him go to harass other people. The mental trauma that the child had to go through is nothing for the justice system.
